Late spring:
A word from the gardener:
Many of us are tired of this weather. You may have noticed items
that may normally be sprouting bud & bloom by now has yet to make an
appearance. Many trees still don’t have leaves, including Japanese
maples.
This year you can expect frost burn
and a late push on perennials. Some have even been knocked back a
time or two. I can honestly say I’ve been through a lot of winters
but this one takes the cake. Never fear, better days should be
around the corner. There are times like this that try even the most
fervent of gardeners!!
